One of our mini trips with Jen was to the Keukenhof in Holland. Every year this beautiful park opens up on the first day of spring until the middle of May, and has the most spectacular flower displays. It is actually quite more than just a flower park. They have many restaurants, a great playground, several indoor expositions, a petting zoo, and many more fun things. The kids had a ball! The one bummer was that a lot of the tulips still hadn't bloomed because the weather has been so cold here. Apparently, this is the worst winter they have EVER had since opening the park in 1949! We still enjoyed it, and the flowers really were amazing (the indoor flowers since most of the outdoor flowers had yet to bloom). I would love to go back next year and take Jeff when it's a little warmer and even prettier.
