So Big

Addy's latest trick. Her other favorites are clapping, waving bye-bye and shaking her head no when mommy tells her "no, no, no!" Enjoy!

Beach

Our neighborhood has this nice little beach right down the street! It's no California, but can't expect too much on the East Coast. We went down yesterday to play in the water, watch the ducks, and eat dinner at the restaurant. The restaurant is neat because all seating is outside on the marina and they also play live music on weekends!

Daddy Outfit

Daddy is in charge for the morning and I come home to find Addy wearing this outfit. A Yankees onsie unsnapped, and jeans that don't match. Gotta love it!! (except for the Yankees shirt)

Weaned Baby

Addy has decided over the last 3 weeks that she really doesn't want to breastfeed anymore. I've been very patient and have tried everything, but she often pushes me away or squirms to get out of my arms. So, we have switched to formula in the afternoon and before bed. I am still able to get her to nurse in the mornings, but that is pretty much the ONLY time she wants to nurse. Kind of sad because I really wanted to nurse her for a whole year. We'll see, maybe she'll still do mornings for the next couple of months?

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today is Jeff's 35th birthday! We celebrated by having his favorite dinner (and mine too) of filet mignon, scalloped potatoes, and broccoli (Not exactly a low cal affair, but it was a special day) . Grandma Tina ordered Jeff this DELICIOUS ice cream cake from coldstones-- it was coffee ice cream with heath bar, oreos, and devil's food chocolate cake. Addy bought him some nice gifts and she loved helping him open presents!

Hydrangeas

Hydrangeas are my FAVORITE flower and it is soooo exciting that they we have a few bushes of them growing on the side of our house!! And they are blue, which is the prettiest color (I think). It is so exciting that I no longer have to buy fresh flowers at the store, I can pick them from the yard!

Middleton Visit

It was such a nice day Monday when our friends, The Middleton's, were in town to visit! Noah and Addy are just 5 weeks apart and love each other! Noah tried to attack Addy a few times and I told him he would have to wait at least 30 years for that :) I found this picture of them when they were just tiny babies, what a difference!Noah looks like he is trying to kiss Addy

Busch Gardens

We went to Busch Gardens for the first time on Friday and it was AWESOME! One of the best things about it was that it took us only 10 minutes from the time we left our house, parked the car, and arrived inside the park. We bought a season pass and will definitely use it all summer! We can't wait to have a date night, put Addy to bed, and go over to the park to ride the roller coasters. We did trade off to ride a few rides on Friday. Addy had a blast too!
Addy's first ride was on the carousel-- she was a little scared of the horse. We ended up on the bench.
One of her favorite parts was when Mother Goose read her a book! It was soooooooo cute. Addy was so tuned in (she's sitting at the front of the blanket).

9 Months

Today Addy is 9 months old! We had a great day at the pool playing with lots of kids and other babies. She even dunked her head!
I love this picture! This morning I left the room for a few minutes to do laundry. I came back (maybe 3 minutes later) to find that Addy had found her way to my purse, pulled out my wallet, and was playing with the credit cards.
