Funny quotes

I have been meaning to post some of Addy's funny quotes for awhile now. She said something funny today so it reminded me that I wanted to do this. Some of these she said a few months ago, and they're still hilarious!!

This was today after she had misbehaved a little bit:

Addy: Mom, I love you

Me: I love you too Addy

Addy: But sometimes I drive you crazy?

A few weeks ago at Trader Joe's in the check-out line to a 60 year oldish man:

Addy: I Love milk

Grocery man: You do? You should drink it all the time, it's good for you.

Addy: My baby brother doesn't drink my milk. He drinks milk from my mommy's boobies. They're really big, bigger than his head.

(and this is when I get slightly red, I think the grocery guy too).

A few months ago while watching a Yankees game with daddy (A.J. Burnett is the pitcher and he has lots of tattoos on his arms).

Addy: Daddy, look at all of his stamps on his hands. He must have gone potty and washed his hands ALOT today!

The kids at her pre-school would get a stamp every time they went to the bathroom.

And my personal favorite from a few months ago:

Addy: Mommy, I don't like Obama

Me: You don't?

Addy: No, he takes all of my money

Me: Who told you that Addy?

Addy: The old guy on the TV............(pause)...... And daddy.

2 months

Luke turned 2 months old yesterday! He gets cuter and cuter by the day, and still manages to be the sweetest baby. We had his appointment on Monday, and he did so well with his shots. He didn't even cry until the nurse was all done and gave him his bandaids. I like to look at his stats and compare them with Addy since they both had identical stats at birth. She was 12lbs and 23 inches at her 2 month check-up. Here are Luke's:

Weight: 12lbs 8 oz (73%)

Height: 23 inches (50%)

Head: 16 inches (69%)

Happy Baby

Luke has been smiling for us over the past 2 weeks-- he's a very happy boy!! This is the the first time we were able to catch it on camera (kind of). It's more of a half smile. The second picture is his funny face scared of the camera!

Addy's Birthday Party

I'll admit, I am a little obsessed with birthday parties. I have been thinking and planning Addy's birthday for awhile and I am super excited for her big day. I received the proof of her invitation today, and I wanted to share. She is so excited about having a candy party (mama also had to really jazz it up to convince her this would be WAY better than a princess party). Just to prove I am party crazed, I've already started planning Luke's party, it is only 10 months away you know :)

Little Ballerina

Addy is taking Intro to Dance this summer and we just started our session yesterday. It is the cutest thing you've ever seen! There are about 8 little girls in her class-- 3 of them are her really good friends Hannah, Grace, and Sara. The first 30 minutes they do tap and the last 30 minutes is ballet. She loves her new tap shoes (mommy is not a big fan). The adults can't be in the room, so we were able to watch through a two-sided mirror. It was adorable and Addy loved every minute of it!

4th of July Fun

We've had a great time this 4th of July weekend! We started the weekend off with the neighborhood party on Friday night. Addy had loads of fun in all of the bounce houses and dancing with her friends and daddy to the band. Yesterday morning we participated in the neighborhood parade and field games. Addy rode in a barbie jeep with Sloan.
