Niederwald Monument, Rüdesheim

Rudesheim is probably our favorite town in Germany. At least our favorite around our area. We have been wanting to do the Niederwald Monument tour which includes a Gondola ride up the vineyard for quite some time now. I can't believe it took us 3 years to do this! It was such a fun day. The weather was lovely, the kids loved the ride up, we had gorgeous views, and there was even plenty of wine tents set up at the top to enjoy a few glasses with our picnic (score). Total success!! We are excited to take our my family there when they come to town.

T-Ball

The kids both played t-ball this year and had a blast. The age group was for 5-6 year olds and since I was the coach, Luke was able to play. He was great! In fact, better than some of these boys with his skills. Even more importantly, he always listened and was actively participating in everything (can't say the same for all of these kids). Addy was the only girl and didn't seem to mind. We had a fun season, but mom was often exhausted with these boys and glad that we can move on to the older age group next year.
