Lake Como & French Riviera

As soon as we got back from our trip to the states, we took a few days to re-pack and went down to Lake Como, Italy and Southern France! We've wanted to go to the French Riviera for awhile now. Jeff lived their as a kid and still has many ties to the area. We were able to stay with one of his childhood friends, Magali, who was such a wonderful hostess! We had a fabulous time visiting the many towns and cities along the beach. Everything was absolutely beautiful. The kids also enjoyed swimming in the ocean (not something we get to do too much in the US). The weather was perfect, food was great, and the sites were breathtaking. Most of it couldn't be appreciated by our pictures! We decided to start the trip off in Lake Como because it was about a halfway point to Southern France. We stayed for 2 nights and loved it, spent about 6 days in France, then back to Italy for one more day at Lake Como. We'll definitely go back next time we head to the Riviera!

Lake Como, Verona

Lake Como boat ride to Bellagio, the backdrop is the town of Maggiano

Bellagio has so many neat streets that are steps up to shops and restaurants. Very charming!

St-Raphael, France (city where Jeff lived). This is the center of town at the Basilica

Agay, France- beach where we stayed

Eze, France. Eze is an awesome little town that sits on top of a cliff and is set in a castle. Awesome! It was hard to take pictures of what it looked like unless we were to get an aerial view.
