We decided to stay home this 4 day weekend, mainly because we needed a little break from traveling! The weather has also been quite crummy lately so we figured it would be nice to stay in. We still have yet to see snow, but it has been raining almost everyday. On Friday, the rain actually stopped so we took a nice day trip to Heidelberg. Heidelberg is only an hour away and one of the cities that we hadn't visited. The city is very cute sitting on both sides of the river. There is also a beautiful castle at the top of the hill overlooking the city. We took the train to the top and walked around the castle garden a bit. Gorgeous views from the top! We also walked downtown a bit and discovered a neat little shop called the Chocolate Company. There were over 75 flavors of hot chocolate! Addy and I were in heaven! We ordered a few cups (and also PLENTY to take home), and also had a few other delicious chocolate treats. We'll definitely be back!

Tiramisu hot chocolate. It comes in the form of a chocolate truffle and is dipped in the hot frothy milk and melted. DELICIOUS!! We bought several of these to bring home and take with us to our upcoming ski trip.

Very cool. I remember going there as a kid. I love that y'all are getting to travel to so many cool places.
