Black Forest, Germany

After spending the day at the Strasbourg Christmas Market, we headed to the Black Forrest region of Germany which was about an hour drive. We did the drive at night and couldn't see much, but realized how beautiful it would be to drive back during the day. It was! The Black Forrest was gorgeous with all the snow capped mountains and small charming towns. The city of Triberg hosted a Christmas event that actually started on Christmas day and ran until New Year's. We thought it would be a perfect time to still continue to celebrate Christmas! Triberg is famous for beautiful waterfalls that run in the middle of the town. The Christmas Market was inside the Waterfall area and decorated with almost 1 million lights. Beautiful at night! They also had a fire show at night against the waterfalls during the celebration.

Luke was snoozing in the stroller during this picture:

A little view of some of the festivities. Lots of yummy food, warm drinks, a stage for entertainment, and a beautiful view into the very cute town.
