A week before Halloween, we decided to try out the Frankenstein Castle. The Castle supposedly provided Mary Shelly with her inspiration behind her book and the movie. I thought it would be a fun authentic way to celebrate! Jeff was out of town this weekend, so we went with my friend Susan and her family. The kids actually enjoyed it! Even the scary creatures, monsters, and creepy people. The castle grounds had a haunted house that was outside. They open it during the day for kids, and at night only recommend it for adults. I can see why, as some of the characters were creepy. They had no problem touching adults! Luckily for us, they left Addy and Luke alone for the most part. Addy enjoyed it so much she wanted to go back through several times.
