Fall might be my favorite season in Germany. The weather has been spectacular for the 3 year in a row now, and I love all the festivities!! One of our favorite outings on the weekend is to the local apple farm to pick apples. They usually have a festival for families there too. We happened to go on a gorgeous day and came home with 20 lbs of apples! What's even more surprising is that we managed to eat every single one in less than 2 weeks. The kids went through several a day and we made lots of yummy dishes with them. They taste so good here!
