No Swaddle!

For awhile I really was concerned that Addy would be going off to college in a straight jacket-- she could not sleep without her swaddle blanket strapping her arms down! Well, all week she has been doing great without it. We are happy she has made the transition, and it has made everyone sleep so much better! Miss Addy is now able to get to her pacifier and pop it in her mouth without mommy getting up in the middle of the night to do it. What a difference this has made, she is sleeping 11-12 hours at night. This isn't neccessarily a complete "silent" 12 hours....We do hear her a few times in the middle of the night fumbling around for her pacifier, sometimes babbling to herself, or our new favorite banging her legs up and down on her mattress. Nonetheless, we are thrilled to not get up with her to feed her or give her a pacifier. We also realize how nice this will be when we move back into our house and she has her own room!
