6 Months Old!!

Today Addy is 6 months old. I know it is cliche to say its gone by fast, but it really has! We celebrated her half birthday by visiting the Dr's office this morning. Addy had to get 4 shots and took it like a champ! She barely cried, and even grinned and giggled when it was all finished. She weighed 17lbs (75%), length was 26 inches (50%), and her head was 17.5 in (95%). She didn't really gain that much weight or get much taller, but the Doctor said it was normal for breast fed babies to taper off.

She is doing so many new things and changes on a daily basis! We transitioned her to 2 naps a day yesterday, and so far so good. And in case any of you were curious, yes, our baby girl is still being swaddled for naps and bedtime. She just likes it and won't fall asleep on her own otherwise! Maybe we'll try again soon to get her out of the swaddle. She is eating 2 meals (solids) a day, and we'll start 3 meals within the week. She also has 2 bottom teeth (as you can see in the picture below).
This is the only way we can capture the teeth, she was upset because daddy was playing peek-a-boo and it scared her!
She is sitting up on her own, sometimes this only lasts a short while and she dives for something in front of her.
She grabs everything in sight, often trying to lunge out of our arms. Her favorite toy of the week is the remote (last week it was paper and magazines).
