Over Memorial Day Weekend, I took a whirlwind trip to Norway with my girlfriend, Hillary. Let me just say that Norway is absolutely beautiful, I've never seen anything like it! The pictures don't really do it justice. Plus, I forgot my good camera!!! We had such a great trip. We started off in Oslo, which was kind of neat, but definitely not the highlight. We then took a few trains to land us in the Sognefjord, the most beautiful fjord in Norway. We stopped in a little town called Flam, which was fabulous. Then took a 4 hour boat tour through the Fjord and ended in Bergen (also fabulous!). Bergen was really fun and cool; definitely better than Oslo. We finally ended back in Oslo. It was quite an adventure!

Flam from the train, I mean, does it get cuter than this?

A stop along the train route, as you can see we were transported into winter at the end of May:
A really neat outdoor museum that gives a historical perspective of Norway:

Wow, my mom and her side of the family are all from Bergen. In fact, William was almost named Bergen! I wish we had made it there while we lived in Budapest but we got so much sticker shock from our Stockholm trip that we never quite got around to making it to Norway. Something to look forward to for the future though!!! Loved seeing the beautiful pics; thanks for sharing:-)
