The Big 3-0 in the Big Apple!!

Yesterday, I turned 30!! Jeff took me to New York City for my birthday over the weekend to celebrate. We had a fabulous time! We went with 3 other couples to include our dear friends who recently moved to Connecticut, Matt and Molly. Molly was diagnosed with brain cancer a few months ago and has had quite a year. Even in the midst of her chemo she stayed with us for a few days in the city. She looked terrific and is the same Molly!

We ate some of the best meals ever, enjoyed our friends, shopped a lot, and walked all over Manhattan. We are so grateful that Mimi and Papa watched the kids for us over the weekend. It was quite a treat to have some alone time!! Addy and Luke behaved like angels (at least we were told). On Monday we enjoyed my actual birthday with a DELICIOUS cake from the carrot tree bakery (2nd best chocolate cake EVER) and thai food for dinner. We didn't take any pictures of our delicious dinners in the city, a slight technical difficulty with the camera. The only pictures we took were on the 3rd day when Jeff and I walked around by ourselves.

Making a wish! I love everyone's expression:
Times Square (it was very cold in NY this weekend)
Had to laugh at the background in this picture advertising for a Charlie Sheen Live show-- who wants to see that guy?
Magnolia Bakery Barbie Cupcakes. We brought one home for Addy and she was sooo excited!
