Our beautiful baby girl celebrated her first birthday today! It seems as though I was just pregnant, and I am still unsure where the year has gone. The best year of our lives! Addy continues to fill our lives with love and excitement every day. She is really starting to communicate with us and is full of energy! She is a master crawler and doesn't seem too concerned about learning to walk. Our little baby also has a mouth full of 12 teeth! She still loves to eat and has tried many new things lately. I gave her a tomato, spinach, and cheese omelet to celebrate her birthday and she wasn't too crazy about it (which is VERY unusual for her). Tonight she had her first piece of cake and LOVED IT!! We wouldn't expect anything different. I made her a yummy carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Yesterday, Addy received a package from Mimi and Papa. As you can see in the top picture, Addy dumped out all the peanuts and played with the boxes. This morning, we sang to her when she woke up and let her open all of her gifts from us and Mimi and Papa. She loves all of her new toys and clothes! Her birthday party will be tomorrow and we will be sure to post more pictures of the little birthday girl with all of the excitement!
